Aniseed & orange cake

For 40 portions.


Butter and flour a cake tin.
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar for 10 minutes. Sieve the flour and fold it under the ruban. Fold in the remaining ingredients. Pour into the cake tin and bake until cooked in a preheated oven at 180 °C during 20-30 min. Leave to cool.

Candied orange

  • Sliced orange - 1/2
  • Orange juice - 100 g
  • White sugar - 100 g
  • Vanilla pod - 1/2
Bring the orange juice with the sugar and vanilla pod to the boil. Pour on the orange slices. Leave to marinate for one night.

Orange frosting

  • Orange marmelade - 100 g
  • Water - QS

Mix the jam with the water. 


Finish the cake with the candied orange slices and vanilla pods and spread the orange frosting with a brush.
